Will Green is a Project Director in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team at YHEC.  Will has a Master’s degree (MSc) in health economics and an undergraduate degree (BSc) in biology, both from the University of York.  Since completing his MSc in October 2012 he has taken up employment at the University.  Eighteen months of that time was spent completing a knowledge transfer partnership (KTP), which linked both the University and YHEC to Medipex Ltd., a healthcare innovation hub based in Leeds.

Will’s main role at YHEC is leading the completion of economic evaluations and over the years he has worked on a variety of technologies. This has meant working with a wide range of clients, both from the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.  Through these projects Will has gained extensive experience of the methods associated with health technology assessment. This includes leading formal submissions to both NICE and the SMC.  Will also has experience of critical appraisals and systematic literature reviews.
