Training Courses

Our training courses take place online between 10am to 3pm (UK time) unless specified. Please ignore any fields on the booking form with regards to dietary requirements.

YHEC offers a range of training courses in health economics topics including economic modelling, evidence retrieval and information skills.  Our courses are designed to be relevant for all international settings.  All times shown are UK time and courses start at 10am unless stated otherwise.  All prices shown are excluding VAT.

Please note: we only accept payments via credit/debit cards and our training courses are not recorded.

YHEC courses are generally introductory.  Five-day expert workshops, postgraduate distance learning and MSc courses in health economics are offered by health economists at the Centre for Health Economics and the Department of Economics and Related Studies at the University of York.

Cancellation and Indemnity:

The course fee (less 10% administrative charge) will be refunded for cancellations received in writing at least one month prior to the study day.  Substitutes can be made free of charge but please email the new delegate details to YHEC (yhec@york.ac.uk).

Cancellations made less than one month prior to the study day are not refundable.  In the unlikely event that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the training event has to be cancelled, our liability is limited to refund of workshop fees only.

Our courses are currently online but when we resume to classroom training it will be based in York.  We recommend that delegates have adequate insurance cover to claim any travel or personal expenses.
