Pharmaceutical Companies

The health economic modelling and the review and information services teams at YHEC regularly work together when undertaking work for pharmaceutical companies. Typically, a systematic review (led by the review team) will be used to inform input parameters within an economic model and a member of the modelling team will design the scope of the analysis and the data extraction table. Additionally, the two teams will work together seamlessly on submissions to NICE and other HTA bodies with members of the modelling team attending key meetings relating to the literature review (and vice versa). This approach ensures consistency throughout the submission preparation process with members of both teams being involved in, and aware of, all key decisions.
