Description

This two-hour course will enable participants to understand how scoping reviews, rapid reviews, overviews of how reviews and living reviews can be used and when they would be appropriate.

We will work with examples from the literature and take participants’ questions to make the course applicable and practical.

After taking this course, you should understand scoping, rapid reviews, overviews of reviews and living reviews, specifically:

  • What they are, i.e. to recognise their main features and methods
  • How to use them, i.e. to describe challenges and opportunities in producing them
  • When to use them, e.g. when resources and timelines are tight, when working in a new disease area
